Support

How can we help?

Erne is built and supported by one developer. Most questions get a same-day reply.

Email support

The fastest route. Tell me what device you’re on (iPhone model, iOS version, Apple Watch model and watchOS version if relevant) and what happened.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account?

No. Erne does not have accounts. Open the app, set defaults, and start scoring. Your matches live on your device.

Does it work without an Apple Watch?

Yes. The iPhone app is a complete scoreboard and journal on its own. The Apple Watch app is optional and pairs over Watch Connectivity when you have one.

Does Erne support Android, Wear OS, or Garmin?

No. Erne is iPhone and Apple Watch only.

What scoring formats are supported?

Singles or doubles, rally scoring or traditional side-out, with games to 11, 15, or 21. Defaults are saved between matches.

What does Erne do with Apple Health permissions?

Health access is optional. If you grant it, Erne logs each completed match as a Pickleball workout in Apple Health, so it shows up alongside your other workouts in Apple Fitness. Decline and the scoreboard still works the same. See the privacy policy for full detail.

How do I export my matches?

Open Settings inside the app and use the CSV export option. The exported file is yours — share it however you like.

How do I cancel Erne Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone, find Erne, and cancel. Pro features stay active until the end of the current period.

Is there a free trial?

The Erne Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. The Weekly plan does not.

The Watch isn’t syncing the score

Make sure both apps are open, the Watch is on the same Apple ID, and Bluetooth is enabled. If the score still drifts, force-quit and reopen the iPhone app — the Watch reconnects automatically.

How do I delete my data?

Match history lives in the app’s storage on your device. Delete the app from your iPhone and the data goes with it. If you also want HealthKit data removed, do that from the Health app.
