Erne is designed to keep your pickleball data private and on your devices.

Data the app stores

Erne may store the information you enter or create in the app, including:

• Your display name and optional profile settings (handedness, body metrics if you enter them).
• Match scores, match history, partners, opponents, scoring format, and notes generated from your matches.
• Optional Apple Watch workout references (UUIDs of HKWorkouts saved by the app).
• Optional height and weight read from HealthKit when you grant access (used once to prefill your profile).

This data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s system storage and HealthKit where applicable. Erne does not run a server and does not upload your match history.

HealthKit

HealthKit access is optional. Erne reads your height and weight once to prefill your profile and writes each completed match as a Pickleball HKWorkout. Health data is not used for advertising and is not sold.

Purchases

Erne Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Erne uses StoreKit to check subscription status. Apple handles payment information.

Tracking and advertising

Erne does not track users across apps or websites. Erne does not show ads.

Sharing and export

Erne does not create an account and does not upload match history to an Erne server. If you export a CSV or share data from your device, you control where that exported file is sent.

Children

Erne is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
